Submission date wrong on the website and closed too early

I read the "official rules" http://appsfortheenvironment.challenge.gov/rules
for submission and the date/time for submission was stated as: Deadline – The Submission must be available for evaluation by September 16, 2011 at 11:59 PM ET for judging purposes.
We had a submission ready to go at 10:45pm and it will not let us upload. How are you going to accomodate us and others this may have happened to?

    I am going to email the app and video by midnight to the challenge email address. Thanks.

    We're sorry about the confusion. Please send your submission to mcmahon.ethan@epa.gov. Do not send exe or zip files or they will be stripped from the email. We can talk on Monday morning if another solution is needed.

    Jenna, our email system seems to have gone down in the last hour. I expect it will be revived tomorrow and I'll check for your information then. We'll make this work.
